UNL is the place for

Digital Ag

For more than 30 years, Nebraska has been a leader in the development and testing of new digital ag tools and strategies.

Nebraska researchers have developed a wide array of digital tools that aid producers in managing nutrient application, improving animal welfare, mitigating spray drift, conserving water and much more. These tools are tested on Nebraska’s 40,000 research acres at sites across the state, or through Nebraska’s On-Farm Research Network, in which participating producers work with Nebraska Extension to test new tools and management strategies on their own operations.

The best concepts move from laboratory to field to the marketplace via the Combine, an ag-tech incubator on Nebraska Innovation Campus. And the next generation of digital-ag pioneers are enrolled in a number of programs in which digital ag is front and center.
